PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. 1 hour to 1.5 hours , about 3 to 5 miles, moderate hills, possible steep inclines & stiles, faster pace. Talking with each other is an important part of our Health Walk, so we’ll try to stick to a pace that makes this possible. A brisk pace is our aim – walking as if we are late for an appointment. Children are welcome, however under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and must also be registered as a health walker.
