A dedicated 55-minute session for those over 50+ that is both lane swimming and casual swimming, which also includes those with disabilities that require a quieter session.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. I love chair based dance - it's a fun way of getting fit whilst sitting down. We dance whilst sitting on a chair to some great tunes, most of which you'll know and you can sing along too. Work at your own pace, just tap your toes, clap your hands and we're dancing! Suitable for anyone who would prefer to remain seated whilst exercising - older adults, beginners, overweight, unfit, disabled including wheelchairs, dementia sufferers.
