Adults Climbing Social exclusively for disabled and neurodivergent adults aged 18+ takes place every Friday from 2pm - 4pm. If you have climbed before or are a new to climbing, you are welcome to come along. This is a drop in session, so you are able to stay as long or as little as you like. There will be experienced staff and volunteers at the social to guide, encourage and support you. We encourage climbers and carers to socialise in our South Ridge cafe before or after the session.
Boccia is similar to bowling but played indoors with 6 red balls, 6 blue balls and one white called the jack. The aim of the game basically is to get your balls nearer the white. Boccia can be a game played for leisure although it is also a Paralympic game. These sessions are quieter with reduced capacity to cater for individuals with learning and disability needs, whether a physical or a hidden disability. Sessions are suitable for fitness, socialising, and rehabilitation.
