Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £12.00 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Walking football is designed to give you the chance to play the game you love but reduce the chances of injury. It's a great way to keep fit, learn skills, have fun and socialise!

This is a fun and lively chair based Exercise class for Older Adults. Incorporating standing and seated exercises to help improve Stamina, Strength, Balance and Flexibility. All Levels of fitness and abilities are catered for. Adaptations and alternative exercises are given throughout where necessary. Walk with us to make new friends, get fit and explore your local area. Our walks are led by friendly volunteers – one at the front and one at the back - who are entrusted by Hertfordshire County Council to lead safe and happy walks.
