Berkshire Vision provide a monthly programme of adapted and accessible sports for people with visual impairments. These sports change with the seasons, some run all year round.
A Soft Play session with a focus on children up to 10 years with special educational needs and disabilities. Adult supervision ratios apply. No outside food and drink is permitted. All junior tickets include 1 adult, all additional adults need to purchase a ticket. Socks must be work at all times.
An adaptable class that responds to your individual ability, water confidence and focus. Perfect for returning to exercise, building confidence and fitness. Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. Adapted Riding
Handcycle hire of a sport-on XCR adaptive handcycle: 1-2-1 session with a guided ride to build confidence. Individual hire that you can do independently, taking the handcycle out with a group friends/family or just on your own. As an adaptive cyclist, access to a handbike has enabled me to explore areas that were once off limits, and do so at my own pace. Janneke's Monday morning adventure walk This is a 90 minutes walk on footpaths through fields and over stiles around Ellastone. Come and enjoy this early morning walk to get an active start at the beginning of your week. Using gears 2 and 3, working through the gears for progression and endurance. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
