Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.

This is a beautiful woody walk across the cricket pitch and into Hollands Wood campsite (not in use in the winter!) where you`ll enjoy lovely views across the Balmer Lawn with its abundance of ponies, cattle and pigs at the right time of year! Then we`ll head up the hill and into the Parkhill Inclosure and walk around to Standing Hat before returning along the cycle track. This walk is just over an hour.
Our Community Club in Hackney runs weekly inclusive multi-sport sessions. The club offers a range of inclusive traditional and Paralympic sports including football, basketball, cricket, tennis, boccia and more. Be.Fit Together” is our twice-weekly drop-in session at Laura Trott Leisure Centre especially for people with a permanent or long term physical disability. The session is designed to encourage independent exercise in our main gym, as well as offering small group balance work in a separate area.
