Glasgow Wheelchair Rugby is Scotland’s only full contact wheelchair rugby club. Based in Glasgow the club is made up of two teams, The Caledonian Crushers our adult team, training 7-9pm and our junior team, The Caledonian Clan, training 6-7pm both at Tollcross Leisure Centre, every Tuesday. Wheelchair rugby is an exciting, fun and fast paced sport where there can be a role in the team for those with least amount of physical function. The club is open to both sexes and ages eight upward.
Our Junior Pan DisAbility Hubs can be the first step for a player on their footballing journey, or for the more experienced footballer looking to play regularly in a safe and inclusive environment. Sessions are for players aged 5 to 16 years with any form of physical and/or learning disability or special educational need. We have introduced the sport into Cumbria to enable individuals with a disability or physical impairment to access an all inclusive, thrill seeking, adrenaline rush full contact Sport !
