Disability and Inclusive Activity Clubs are fun and accessible that provide Paralympic and multi-sports for disabled people. Delivering high quality sports and physical activity provision for the community and offering expert knowledge of disability sport through our fully-qualified sports coaches
A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.
A swimming session aimed for over 60s as well as adults and children with disabilities. It’s a great way to socialise and relax in a pool environment.
Sessions for adults to swim socially, no lanes. These sessions are generally quieter and so may be more suitable for those living with dementia, neurodivergence and/or other long term health conditions
A swim session for people with disabilities. Parents and carers are welcome.
An adaptable class that responds to your individual ability, water confidence and focus. Perfect for returning to exercise, building confidence and fitness. Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. Pre-registration is required before attending your first Good Boost session, please contact your local leisure facility.
Depending on preference and fitness level, this flexible walk is for those who would normally book on to our ‘well-being extra’ walk (up to 75 minutes), or for those who might normally book on to our longer, quicker ‘easy adventure’ walk (up to 90 minutes).
Session for family to build water confidence in a calm environment with unique ambience created by coloured lighting effects and sounds/music. This activity’s ideal for those looking to enjoy a sensory experience based around visual, hearing and touch senses.
