Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. Help strengthen your core stability, improve muscle tone and mobility with our exercise class that has been specially designed for people who are at risk of or worried about falling. The instructor will take into consideration your individual circumstances and has a range of chair, standing and floor exercises.
Our purpose built sensory room is designed for disabled children and adults, and also under 5's. Sensory rooms provide a relaxing environment in which can both calm and stimulate the senses through interactive fun and a relaxing atmosphere. Our online Tai Chi sessions are particularily suited to people who are unable to access face to face sessions. All abilities are welcome, you will be joined by our wonderful , experienced instructor Ruth, who will teach you a range of Tai Chi movements and breathing techniques.
