Our combined Tai Chi and Qigong class starts with a gentle warm-up to calm the breathing and mind, and mobilise the body. Angela will guide you through the Tai Chi steps from the front of the hall, talking you through each of the movements. We will learn a new step or revisit and refine one each class, building on the previous movements to flow a sequence together. This walk is approximately 4.5/5 miles. There are two different options according to sign ups and the weather. Both options include a longish medium incline and possibly a couple of short steeper ramps. The walk is along country lanes, grass tracks, open countryside and wooded tracks. A 45 minute open gym session where the music is lowered. Parents are allowed to come and train with there newborn/children if they are in a car seat or pushchair.
People in wheelchairs CAN play drums, just like anybody else! With my novel technique of balancing the front wheel on the kick drum pedal and simply rocking forward, you can ROCK OUT to all your favourite songs, learn how to play in a band or write your own music, or simply a great way to exercise and have fun! Drumming is awesome and if you can wheely, you can drum!
