Football targeting (though not exclusively for) the Senior age group playing to the widely accepted rules of Walking Football Affiliated to Taunton Town FC so players can, if they wish, play in local and regional Tournaments. Played Outdoors on 3G Astro. 2 sessions, Sunday 11.00 - 12.00 and Tuesday 10.00 - 11.00. Sunday tends to be a little more competitive, Tuesday a little more inclusive. Join our Guided Nordic Walk around the ancient Forest. Walks are led by our team of experienced Forestry England Volunteers. Our walks are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, who have completed a NWUK Learn to Walk Course and are comfortable walking for the full 90 minutes. Pace one A 2k to 3k gentle WALX that incorporates balance work, flexibility and strength exercises and maybe a bit of yoga or relaxation too. On Monday these walks take place around Stanmore and Harrow Weald on mainly flat terrain but we do go on trails through the woods so that we can enjoy the changes in nature throughout the year.
