A friendly and inclusive class designed to support mobility, strength, and relaxation for adults aged 55 and over. Each session blends gentle movement, stretching, and breathing techniques—all of which can be done seated or with the support of a chair. Whether you're new to exercise or simply looking for a low-impact way to stay active, this class helps improve posture, balance, and flexibility in a warm, social setting. No experience needed—just come as you are and move at your own pace.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. Heligan Gardens Walk As walkers arrive they split into 4 groups with different walk paces to cover the 200 acre site at a speed to suit each individual. Please make yourself known to any of the walk leaders who will be wearing a hi vis vest. Beds RCC co-ordinates Wellbeing Walks walk programmes throughout Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough. Our walks are free, fun and friendly – perfect to help you get active and meet new people. If you’d like to take part all you have to do is come along to the start point and make yourself known to one of the trained walk leaders.
