Perranporth Healthy Walking Group (Perranporth Community Hub) A circular walk that starts and ends in the car park of the St Michael’s Mission Church – the venue for the Perranporth Community Hub on a Wednesday morning. These sessions are quieter with reduced capacity to cater for individuals with learning and disability needs, whether a physical or a hidden disability. Sessions are suitable for fitness, socialising, and rehabilitation.
The Active Blaby team co-ordinate and sometimes lead a series of walks designed to get people moving. These Health Walks are quite short in length, relatively easy in pace and are delivered in a way to get you moving as a first step to building activity into your day. They are also a great chance to socialise with other like minded people and have some fun too!!
We encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
