The group walks for 1.5 -2 hours including a refreshment stop at a cafe. This is a fun gentle walking group for all ages and abilities. Come along and make new friends from your local community, have fun and get active! A weekly walking group, offering individuals the chance to connect with others, take a stroll along our beautiful coastline enjoying fresh air and nature at Westgate, or take notice of the urban ecology and architecture in the town (depending on the weather!), all whilst taking part in some gentle physical activity. A relaxed group, using routes that are wheelchair and pushchair friendly. The fourth Monday of each month includes an informative themed talk, linked to the local area.
Activities at Dig It Community Allotment are physical therefore looking after your body and preparing for the active nature of gardening is essential.
