Pétanque – A Game for Everyone Pétanque is a fun, social game that anyone can enjoy. The aim is simple – throw your boules (metal balls) as close as possible to the small wooden target ball, called the jack. No special kit is needed, and you can play on almost any surface. We are based at the start of an 11 mile off road Cycle Path, stretching from us in Yatton, to Cheddar. We have a great range of bikes, regular bikes, handcycles, a veloplus wheelchar bike, trikes, adaptive tandems, E-bikes and more. We also have funding to enable people with disabilities and additional needs to access cycling. Our home is at Yatton Railway Station, so it is easy to access us via train from Temple Meads, Bristol. A regular gathering of keen sportspeople of all abilities and ages (8-80), with 2 sessions of 1 hour each - starting with a modified version of Netball and then choosing between Boccia and one of Football, Hockey or Cricket (all indoor).

Local wheelchair basketball club. All equipment is provided played on Saturday morning 10-12:30. It brilliant sport with great encouragement from like minded people. You dont need to be wheelchair user to play or even have a disability just come a long to have some fun.
