Boccia is a precision ball sport, similar to bocce, and related to bowls and pétanque. The name "boccia" is derived from the Latin word for "boss" – bottia. The sport is contested at local, national and international levels, by athletes with severe physical disabilities.

Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist availabe if required.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. The South London Special League Club provide weekly Football turn up and play session every Friday afternoon 1.00-3.00pm at Long Lane JFC. New Players are welcome. Sessions are FREE of charge. All players are advised to arrive changed and ready to play. No changing facilities are available. Players must wear shin pads and artificial pitch footwear. NO STUDS ALLOWED. Trainers can be worn.

Walks for Wellbeing offer supported, guided walks that are accessible to all. They offer an opportunity to get out in nature, meet and chat with new people, whilst getting some gentle exercise. The walk starts at Roman Fields car park at 1pm and we have various routes in green spaces. All our walks are FREE and last for around 60 mins to 75 mins.
Walking with Poles Emma will be teaching you how to benefit from using the poles to help you walk more efficiently, burning more calories and inproving your posture The class will incorporate a short walk around the surrounding area.
