Powerchair football is played in electric sports wheelchairs with bumpers on the front of them. Games are played 4 v 4 on a basketball court, are 40 minutes long, and there are currently around 100 clubs in the U.K. Since there is no advantage given for size or age, participants as young as 7 can play competitively with 70 year olds! This delightful walk takes you through the Wootton Park Estate and up into the Weaver Hills, starting and ending at Dalton’s Dairy Ice Cream Parlour. Along the way, you'll pass Wootton Lodge, Wardlow Quarry, and the trig point at Weaver. As you near the summit, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Peak District and the Churnet Valley. Take a moment to enjoy the scenery before heading back down to savour the delicious ice cream and refreshments.
