This is a fantastic class for those who want to enjoy the benefits of Pilates but find getting up and down from the floor difficult. We use a range of equipment to get a full body workout and we have a lot of fun and laughter.
Our Functional Fitness Class supports older people to maintain a healthy active life. The class encompasses exercises to support Endurance, Strength, Agility, Balance and Co-ordination - everything you need to keep leading an active life! This course introduces you to the wonderful world of Nordic walking, a fun and very sociable way to get fit and stay fit, in beautiful surroundings. The course is 4 x 1 hour lessons in two parts. Sessions 1 and 2 focus on learning the Technique of Nordic Walking, how to use and get the best from the special Nordic Walking poles.
