Our combined Tai Chi and Qigong class starts with a gentle warm-up to calm the breathing and mind, and mobilise the body. Angela will guide you through the Tai Chi steps from the front of the hall, talking you through each of the movements. We will learn a new step or revisit and refine one each class, building on the previous movements to flow a sequence together. Level 2: 2 - 2.5 miles, tracks and some hills or moderate pace. Intermediate walks, ideal for those looking to develop their walking fitness and able to complete 45-60 mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sport in Mind are delighted to present this free, welcoming and supportive football session at Prospect Park, Liebenrood Road, Reading, every Tuesday at 2-3.30pm. This session is open to anyone 17 years or older who is experiencing low mood, stress, social isolation or a mental health problem. A 3 mile riverside walk.
Starting out from South Stainley, and passing by the new eco houses, this walk crosses fields to join Station Lane at Burton Leonard. It then returns via Jackson Wood to emerge by the church at South Stainley. At 3.5 miles, the walk takes around 90 minutes.
A 45 minute open gym session where the music is lowered. Parents are allowed to come and train with there newborn/children if they are in a car seat or pushchair.
Our class is designed for people recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s or those with early/moderate-stage Parkinson’s. This exercise classes will help with strength, balance, movement and flexibility using body weight exercises.
