The Paddle and Play sessions are open to individuals, families and groups of friends who wish to hire or launch sit on top kayaks, open canoes, and paddleboards. They are not Instructor led sessions. Sessions run on a Tuesday evening 6pm – 7.30pm, Saturday morning 10am – 11.30am and from June Saturday afternoon 12.30pm – 2pm. They must be pre booked, you cannot participate without a pre-booking.
Gentle walk to Explore - woodland, hills and meadows, all part of these most enjoyable walks. This walk is for those who can walk 5-6 km in an hour and is moderate pace. Please do get in touch if you wish to ascertain your suitability. It is essential to register and book in advance online. We are based at the start of an 11 mile off road Cycle Path, stretching from us in Yatton, to Cheddar. We have a great range of bikes, regular bikes, handcycles, a veloplus wheelchar bike, trikes, adaptive tandems, E-bikes and more. We also have funding to enable people with disabilities and additional needs to access cycling. Our home is at Yatton Railway Station, so it is easy to access us via train from Temple Meads, Bristol. A regular gathering of keen sportspeople of all abilities and ages (8-80), with 2 sessions of 1 hour each - starting with a modified version of Netball and then choosing between Boccia and one of Football, Hockey or Cricket (all indoor).
Various sports activities held inside a sports hall for adults with a range of disabilities. Sessions are run by qualified coaches and supported by DBS cleared volunteers
Multi-sport session for children and young people with SEND and additional needs, all ability levels welcome. The session is for 6-16 year olds, siblings are welcome to attend also. The format of the sessions is multi-sport, our experienced coaches will provide a range of different sports, activities and games each week, encouraging participants to learn and develop new skills in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.
Local wheelchair basketball club. All equipment is provided played on Saturday morning 10-12:30. It brilliant sport with great encouragement from like minded people. You dont need to be wheelchair user to play or even have a disability just come a long to have some fun.
