We encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
The classes are suitable for older adults who haven’t exercised before or who have started to experience a decline in their physical ability. There are two classes available: A Beginner/Intermediate class which lasts for 45 minutes and an Intermediate/Advanced class, which lasts for approximately 1 hour. Dance like no one is watching - in a fun and friendly over 50's environment.Stay for a coffee afterwards to meet new friends. All classes 45 mins. Simple to follow dance routines, variations given for different levels of fitness. Wear comfortable shoes that are not too grippy. Each session is £7.50 Please call to book a place as spaces are still limited to allow plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable.

A regular walking and nature interest group that meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 10am. Explore Canvey Wick Nature Reserve with Community Warden, Katie, and find out about some of the plants and animals that make their home here. Sometimes we take part in nature surveys such as the Big Butterfly Count, but no prior experience is necessary. It's a very friendly group and anyone is welcome to join us. Refreshments are available before and after the session.
Join us for a 45-60 minute gentle wellbeing walk from Isobel Centre through Pan Country Park, finishing with a hot drink at the Centre.
Grade 1 - 30 to 40 minute walk on flat and even ground, gentle pace, no stiles. It is a good walk for beginners. Join us for a cuppa afterwards in the church hall.
