This walk is a Level 1 or a Level 2 walk. Level 1: 1 to 1.5 miles, flat or gentle slopes, no stiles and ideal for those able to complete 30- 40 mins with minimal stops. Level 2: 2 - 2.5 miles, tracks and some hills or moderate pace. Ideal for those looking to develop their walking fitness and able to complete 45-60 mins with minimal stops. Grade 3 - 1 hour, about 3 miles, moderate hills, faster pace and possible stiles. If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing. You don't need any special equipment but be sure to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water. It will be the start of your journey enjoying exercise, being outdoors, having fun and improving your fitness. In this session, you will learn the basics of Nordic walking.
