Join us on our Wednesday walk at Baffins Pond, where we have a choice of either a shorter or longer walk. We have one route which is 30 minutes on a flat path, or one route which takes around 90 minutes. This route is not a flat path and may be muddy. There is wildlife on this walk around the pond, and you can take in the fresh sea air on our longer walk.
First Steps - This is our shortest walk, 20 - 30 minutes, flat and even ground, gentle pace, no stiles, regular stopping places. It is a gentle walk for beginners and ideal for people who are returning to physical activity after injury or illness or who haven't been active in a while. This walk is a Level 1 or a Level 2 walk. Level 1: 1 to 1.5 miles, flat or gentle slopes, no stiles and ideal for those able to complete 30- 40 mins with minimal stops. Level 2: 2 - 2.5 miles, tracks and some hills or moderate pace. Ideal for those looking to develop their walking fitness and able to complete 45-60 mins with minimal stops.
