A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.

Lasts up to 45 minutes, about 2 miles, uneven surface and moderate hills. If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing. You don't need any special equipment but be sure to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water. Level 1: 1 to 1.5 miles, flat or gentle slopes, no stiles and ideal for those able to complete 30-40 mins with minimal stops.
