Our hugely popular Parent & Toddler sessions give parents the chance to have fun with their young children in a safe and stimulating gymnastic environment. Powerchair football is played in electric sports wheelchairs with bumpers on the front of them. Games are played 4 v 4 on a basketball court, are 40 minutes long, and there are currently around 100 clubs in the U.K. Since there is no advantage given for size or age, participants as young as 7 can play competitively with 70 year olds! Grade 3 - 60 minutes, about 3 miles, moderate hills, faster pace, possible stiles. Walk is on the 3rd Tuesdays of the month. If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing. You don't need any special equipment but be sure to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water.
