An Inclusive table tennis session for adults with disabilities. Enjoy playing table tennis in a fun and social environment. These sessions are generally more suitable for those living with a disability, SEND or a long term health condition. Sessions led by a specially trained member of staff.
Come and blow the cobwebs away with gentle movements and a lovely walk at the blue pool - we will look at how to walk well and improve balance and mobility as we go and you can do as much or little as you like. Suitable for those getting back to fitness, just starting out on a fitness journey or managing a medical condition. Our experts will get you back on your feet and out in lovely surrounds with lovely people and the chance of a cuppa at the end too.
The class is a slow mindful practice for nervous system resilience and is suitable for every body. When the nervous system is balanced all the internal organs work more effectively and you feel calm and peaceful inside. The class includes gentle stretches to lengthen the spine and improve posture and flexibility, breath awareness and deep relaxation to release stress and anxiety. Our weekly session includes both tai chi and qigong to boost the immune system, strengthen joints and tendons, improve balance and co-ordination, increase the internal strength of the body and provide a focussed way of dealing with stress.
