Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. This consultation will run through the essential inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Participants will receive 6 weeks free of exercise classes and then £4.50 per person

Keep Active Move More Classes are an enjoyable way to improve stamina and general fitness working at your own pace. You can see the improvements after five sessions. This is a circuit based exercise program designed to keep you active and young at heart. The exercises offered are aerobic, strength, balance and stretching. The theme is for an adventure walk involving an ascent of 1,285 feet (390 metres) with fantastic views incorporating the Ribble valley, the forest of Bowland and on a clear day Morecambe Bay and the Pennines. This is the second of more challenging hill walks to the trig points of many North West based popular features. This overlooks Bowland Forest Gliding club and the location for hangliders on the west side of Parlick Hill.. It is essential to register and book in advance online.
This is the walking section of our running group, ideal if you are recovering from injuries, struggling with niggles or just want to walk. Please note that some runs may be suitable for children aged 8+ where the Run Leader(s) holds the relevant qualifications and insurance.
