Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. 1 hour to 1.5 hours , about 3 to 5 miles, moderate hills, possible steep inclines & stiles, faster pace. Talking with each other is an important part of our Health Walk, so we’ll try to stick to a pace that makes this possible. A brisk pace is our aim – walking as if we are late for an appointment. Children are welcome, however under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and must also be registered as a health walker.

Our Movement for Memory classes are aimed at those who have memory loss or cognitive impairment, and are perfect for those with Parkinson's, Dementia or MS. We focus on dance-based routines and exercises to improve strength, balance mobility and co-ordination.
Come along and join this weekly Wellbeing Walk from Silver Jubilee Park taking place every Wednesday afternoon. The walks meets at 1:15pm and starts at 1:30pm from in front of the hub at Silver Jubilee Park. It is approximately one hour long but walkers can leave at anytime they wish owing to the location and nature of the walk. Each walk is very easy with two sets of 4 steps.
