This running fitness session is based at Wycombe Rye using the measured mile. The focus is on achieving strong, consistent pacing over 3/ 4 mile repeats to support training for 5k/ 10k distances. Join us for our free, mid-week social run. New, for 2025 - you will usually have the choice of two differently paced groups: > a moderately paced route of around 5k, mainly on the flat, with some hills > a more challenging run of up to 10k, likely to be at a faster pace. Whichever group you choose, we will usually begin together with a dynamic warm-up and end with gentle stretches. Feel free to leave after the cool down or join us for a social at a nearby venue. Monday evening 7-8pm is for 8-16years only. Monday 8.15-9.15pm is for anyone aged 16years+. Wednesday session 7-9pm is a mixed aged session for anyone 8 years and over. The sessions can also be adapted for wheelchair users.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
