People in wheelchairs CAN play drums, just like anybody else! With my novel technique of balancing the front wheel on the kick drum pedal and simply rocking forward, you can ROCK OUT to all your favourite songs, learn how to play in a band or write your own music, or simply a great way to exercise and have fun! Drumming is awesome and if you can wheely, you can drum!
Enhance your flexibility, strength, and inner peace with our weekly Yoga class at the Elmwood Centre. Suitable for all ages and abilities, this hour-long session focuses on mindful movement and deep breathing. This is Yoga for everybody and every body with Jackie.
Level 2: Up to 3 miles, tracks and some hills or moderate pace. Intermediate walks, ideal for those looking to develop their walking fitness and able to complete 45-60 mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
