For those of our members (and their partners/carers as appropriate) with mild Parkinson's symptoms, this is a gentle and safe way to improve posture, functional movement and confidence when walking. No pressure here to walk further or faster than you feel comfortable with. This leisurely walk lasts up to an hour, and includes exercises that help with flexibility, balance and strength.
Join our Guided Nordic Walk around the ancient Forest. Walks are led by our team of experienced Forestry England Volunteers. We are based at the start of an 11 mile off road Cycle Path, stretching from us in Yatton, to Cheddar. We have a great range of bikes, regular bikes, handcycles, a veloplus wheelchar bike, trikes, adaptive tandems, E-bikes and more. WASP provides free, accessible cycling sessions to all who would benefit from our bikes. We have a wheelchair platform bike, a handcycle, a side-by-side tricycle for those with sensory impairments, who want their support worker with them, or who just want to chat, and various other tricycles to use. Adult Walking Tennis - if you are a little less mobile or have a health condition which you feel limits you from keeping up with everyone else, why not try Walking Tennis.
