We encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
An easy to access fitness class where the entire session is seated, or uses chairs to support balance and stability (where possible for participant). We focus on maintaining or improving fitness, balance, strength, mobility and mental well being. The class is open to all, but mainly caters to older adults looking for a more gentle class. We stay for tea and coffee after so there is the ability to socialise for those who might not otherwise have this opportunity.
Help strengthen your core stability, improve muscle tone and mobility with our exercise class that has been specially designed for people who are at risk of or worried about falling. The instructor will take into consideration your individual circumstances and has a range of chair, standing and floor exercises.
For people living with dementia and their carers. A fun session, with gentle easy movement. Join us for fun, friendship and relaxing movements, that can be done seated or standing. No special clothing or equipment or previous experience needed. We have a break with refreshments. No charge but donations welcome.
Nordic walking is a fitness technique that uses walking poles in order to give you a whole-body workout which helps to strengthen the immune system and joints such as the back and knees. It is also good for your mental wellbeing as you walk, talk, and make friends with your fellow walkers. It is suitable for all levels of fitness and adjustable Nordic poles are provided. PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.

Classes created with Adult Learning Disabilities in mind and guided by Jacky. Sessions to music often involve a storyline or theme appropriate to the level and ability of the participants. Helps improve mobility, fitness and brings about a sense of calm.
A dance class for people living with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological conditions. Led by Kezia Jolly, these classes are mixture of chair based, standing and travelling exercises incorporating basic dance moves and choreography. The class has a holistic approach, of mind, body and soul and everyone comes away feeling uplifted, positive and confident as well as improving general movement, stretching and strengthening too.
