Our Strength and Balance classes are designed for individuals wanting to improve their strength and balance while learning new exercises to maintain independence. The classes are suitable for those who haven't exercised before or are experiencing a decline in their physical ability. Exercise at your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your community who are at a similar ability level. There is a mixture of standing and seated exercises.
Free Martial Arts session for anyone (aged 16-29) to join. The Codrington Budokan is a friendly and professionally run martial arts centre offering a wide range of activities in a specialised and well-equipped environment. At this session, you will have access to: – Karate – Fencing – Socialising with new and current friends! – General Etiquette and a values based programme
Claire’s classes are welcoming and aimed at having a dance experience. Inspired by classical and contemporary dance repertoire – from the romatic Les Sylphides, to the modern day Nutcracker. Carers are welcome to join in or observe with a cup of tea or coffee. This class is aimed at anyone who loves to move but cannot access a full class, whether you have a medical diagnosis such as dementia or Parkinson’s, or have a learning or physical disability that restricts how comfortable you feel joining...
Sessions for all ages looking to build their water confidence for disabled people or those with long term medical or health conditions.
Instructor led sessions where participants are able to follow individually tailored exercise to meet their muscular skeletal conditions.
