Join us for a dynamic and upbeat class designed to keep older adults active and moving with joy and vitality. Experience a fun mix of exercises tailored to enhance mobility and overall well-being at the Penfold Centre.
This class is based on Spiral-Diagonal Patterns to increase flexibility and mobility, improve coordination and balance and develop cardiovascular capacity. This class can be done seated or standing.
Level 1: 1 to 1.5 miles, flat or gentle slopes, no stiles and ideal for those able to complete 30- 40 mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A Woodland Wellbeing forest bathing session normally lasts between 1 and a half to 2 hours. Expect a mindful, gentle paced stroll immersed in the natural environment. We will be moving at approximately 2-3 miles an hour. There will be invitations to join in activities developed to help you engage all your senses in your Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing) experience as well as the opportunity for quiet reflection.
