Lace your walking boots up, step out, and let the world unfold beneath your feet. Our Explorer WALX will venture into the beautiful areas around the Forest. This 2-mile walk is primarily on flat terrain but can be muddy on occasions. Allow 1 hour for the walk. This Explorer WALX session is open to walkers who do not wish, or are not able, to use poles. This session is suited to those who are looking to improve their fitness and can walk at a minimum pace of 2 mph.
These sessions are perfect for those who are looking to enjoy a social walk at this beautiful Country Park. This session also includes tips and drills to ensure that you are getting the most from your walks. Learn about Walking Well, with or without poles. Suitable for those NEW to WALX or experienced WALX members alike.
*NEW TIME Join Emma at CAMPBELL PARK for a GENTLE paced walk. A Gentle and safe way to walk yourself fitter! These walks use poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility. Suitable for those who want to gently build up to the longer or more vigorous walks or for those who may have concerns about their health. Our Community Club in Sutton runs weekly inclusive multi-sport sessions. The club offers a range of inclusive traditional and Paralympic sports including football, basketball, cricket, tennis, boccia and more. Our sports club is open to anyone with a disability aged 8 years and over. Siblings, parents, carers and support workers can join for free! The club is welcoming, fun and engaging for everyone! Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie.
