Turn back the clock with this fun, effective low impact exercise class specifically designed to meet the health and fitness needs of older adults. We focus on improving balance, muscle & bone strength, flexibility, posture & aerobic health to keep you fit for life. This fitness programme follows all relevant health guidelines to promote active ageing. Exercises can be done standing or seated in a friendly, social environment. Go at your own pace!
A Low Impact circuit class aimed for residents who are inactive and at risk of cardiovascular diseases and mild to moderate mental health conditions. Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. This consultation will run through the essential inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Participants will receive 6 weeks free of exercise classes and then £4.50 per person
Level 3: 3-4 miles, fields and hills, quicker pace and possible stiles. Intermediate walks, ideal for those with good walking fitness and able to complete 60-90mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
