Join this free Wellbeing walk, for fresh air and fitness in a friendly environment. Wellbeing Walks are short walks, led by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. The walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join the group at the advertised time. The route starts and finishes at the same location. DT Coaching is working alongside Active Cornwall to deliver fun, engaging group sessions, focused on building strength, agility, balance and coordination to enable participants to take confidence in their day-to-day lives. Activities will include seated exercises, low level progressive circuit training and exercises using our Virtual Reality headsets. The Live Longer Better sessions are aimed at those aged 55 and over and are free to attend.

Perranporth Healthy Walking Group (Perranporth Community Hub) A circular walk that starts and ends in the car park of the St Michael’s Mission Church – the venue for the Perranporth Community Hub on a Wednesday morning. The Active Blaby team co-ordinate and sometimes lead a series of walks designed to get people moving. These Health Walks are quite short in length, relatively easy in pace and are delivered in a way to get you moving as a first step to building activity into your day. They are also a great chance to socialise with other like minded people and have some fun too!!
We encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
