Join this free Wellbeing walk, for fresh air and fitness in a friendly environment. Wellbeing Walks are short walks, led by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. We run a recreational walking football session for ladies over 40 and men over 50. No experience necessary.
Just Ride Southend runs regular drop-in inclusive cycling sessions for people of all ages and abilities. Based at Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre at Garon Park. We provide a safe traffic-free experience with our specially adapted cycles to cater for all disabilities or health conditions. So please feel free to come and sample our friendly social atmosphere and take some healthy exercise!
Short Mat Bowls is a social sport played indoors and our sessions are a fun way to learn how to play bowls and improve your skills in a friendly and relaxed environment. Games are played between teams of two (pairs) or three (triples) usually over six ‘ends’. These sessions are for those who have played before and those who would like to try something new. Equipment is provided but if you would like to bring your own bowls please do.
