Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. Slow it down, but keep the game alive! Walking Football is a gentler version of the classic sport, perfect for those who want to stay active and enjoy football at a more relaxed pace. Ideal for all abilities, this social session is a fantastic way to meet new people, have fun, and keep fit without the intensity of traditional football.
A lane for swimmers who are comfortable swimming at a fast and consistent pace i.e. under 30 seconds per 25 metres
The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist available if required.
Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
