This is a session for people with disabilities, mainly aimed at children, but some adults do attend. The sessions provide sensory sound and interactive light systems which helps a number of people with disabilities to relax and provides a calming effect.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Bedford Council have partnered with Bedford Blues Foundation to deliver two multi-activity clubs at John Bunyan Sport and Fitness Centre on a Tuesday and a Saturday. Each session offers a choice of exciting activities, including multi-sports and games, socialising opportunities, and use of the sensory room. We are Aberdeen and Aberdeenshires only Wheelchair Basketball Team! If you have a physical disability, learning disability or chronic illness come along and try out our incredible sport. Wheelchair Basketball is inclusive of all, you don't need any experience in a wheelchair or of basketball to join us! We welcome Junior players age 8 to 15 and Senior players age 16 and up.
