Anyone who has a permanent physical impairment, aged over 8, can play wheelchair rugby with us. You do not need to be a wheelchair user to play. We have both adult and junior teams. Wheelchair Rugby is a mixed gender sport. There are two versions of wheelchair rugby, catering for different levels of impairments (4’s & 5’s). We also have a rugby league team. We play Wheelchair Rugby League which is an adapted version of the running game using a rugby ball. We training on a Monday evening 7pm to 9pm at York Sports Centre, Heslington, York, YO10 5NA. We are a Walk Run Group covering around 5 km. We also have capacity for those who wish to do a straight run rather than run/walk to do so!
