A fun, social activity, Nordic Walking is a walking technique enhanced with walking poles. The poles work your upper body at the same time as your legs. You are free to vary the intensity as it suits you.
Very low intensity workout aimed at people wanting to improve strength and posture. Exercise bands are used within the session to increase strength for people who are de-conditioned or coming back to exercise following operations or illness.
A general swim session offers open access to the pool for all ages and abilities. It’s a relaxed, unstructured time where you can swim at your own pace, whether for fitness, leisure, or simply to unwind. PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
