Mobilates - Accessible Exercise - Club of the Year 2025
Congratulations to Mobilates, our Club of the Year 2025. They deliver accessible exercise through a flexible mix of online and in-person sessions, shaped around people’s needs, energy levels, and day-to-day realities. Their approach starts with listening, then adapts movement so everybody can take part in ways that work for them.
Mobilates stood out for their consistent focus on access, a warm welcome, and practical support that removes barriers to being active. Their delivery shows what inclusive practice can look like in real settings.
Reacting to the award, founder Leanne English said,
“This is just incredible, I cannot tell you. I am so excited. A huge thanks to the Mobilates community and everybody who voted for us.” A well-earned recognition, and a strong example of inclusive activity in action.
Flying Fantastic - Inclusive Aerials - People’s Choice Award 2025
Flying Fantastic picked up the People’s Choice Award 2025 after receiving strong public support. Their inclusive aerial sessions have built a welcoming community where disabled people can try something different, feel supported, and enjoy being active together.
Reacting to the award, Molly from Flying Fantastic said,
“Thank you so much for voting for us, it means the absolute world that our club gets this recognition for doing something that we love so much.”
Molly went on to say
“I hope by winning this award we can help share the word of how important it is to make sport accessible and inclusive to all, and the community you get from that. It’s full of friendship and support.”
A year of brilliant clubs
Across 2025, Every Body Moves recognised 11 Club of the Month winners from all corners of the UK. From wheelchair rugby and seated fencing to adapted Pilates, cricket, skateboarding, and snooker, each club is helping remove barriers to being active.
Barry Lloyd, Programme Manager for Every Body Moves, said,
“Congratulations to every club recognised this year. Our 11 monthly winners show what inclusion can look like when put at the centre. Mobilates and Flying Fantastic are both outstanding examples of this and well-deserving winners.
Thank you to everyone involved in supporting this work, from the ParalympicsGB team throughout the year, notably Baden Knifton. Thanks also to colleagues across our membership who champion these clubs locally and to our expert judging panel, who had an incredibly tough task in choosing between such strong entries.
Finally, thank you to everyone who voted and supported the awards. We look forward to celebrating with both winning clubs at the award handover in the new year, alongside colleagues from ParalympicsGB and with the continued support of Toyota.”
