Introducing 'Spotlight On...'

Tokyo 2020

It’s a Paralympic summer but don’t just watch the sports - try them!

Over the next fortnight, Parasport's Spotlight On… series will offer a glimpse into the world of a Paralympic sport – the thoughts, feelings, emotions and behind the scenes details that may be hidden to the outside world.

We'll be chatting to athletes from grassroots to Paralympic level to discover the fascinating stories behind their journeys into the sport, how being active has benefited them and why they think you should get involved!

The opening ceremony for this year's Paralympic Games took place on Tuesday and we'll be shining a light on at least one different sport during every day of the action.

The Paralympic Games is an inspiring voyage of discovery and we can't wait to hear your stories of getting stuck in to the various sports you'll be soaking up in the coming weeks.

So whether you're buzzing for Boccia, stoked for Sitting Volleyball or pumped for Powerlifting, make sure you keep across our channels to find out more - all the stories will be added to this page as the Games progresses.

So without further ado, let the Games begin!
