Martial art trial classes
Calling everyone, of any age, who want to get stronger, feel fitter and be happy whilst being active! This class will follow a circuit style, taking it in turns to move around a range of different exercises, suitable for beginners, for a total body experience. Try out a variety of different sports in a safe and secure environment, where the emphasis is on having fun. Coaching programmes run for around 6-8 weeks, offering a different sport every half term. Each programme aims to develop abilities in that particular sport. Sports include tennis, badminton, cricket, rugby, athletics, golf, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, hockey, and football. North East Bulls Wheelchair Rugby Club are a long established club in the North East. We have been providing an opportunity for Physically Disabled participants to play and train in a social and fun environment. Our sessions run 6-9pm Tuesday and Thursdays out of Sedgfield Community College in Sedgefield, C. Wheelchair Basketball Club with sessions for juniors and seniors from beginners to elite players. Ages 5 to 50+ Primarily for people with lower limb impairments although anyone who is able to self propel a manual sports wheelchair is welcome to attend, including non-disabled people.
Wheelchair Rugby is a Paralympic sport for for both male and female players. The sport is a contact with sport (chair-to-chair contact) for all individuals with a physical impairment. We run weekly training sessions, fixtures and socials in Cheltenham, for adults and juniors over the age of 12.
