Structured Strength and Conditioning class
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art often known for its dynamic kicks. The translation of Taekwondo is 'the way of hand and foot', or 'the art of kicking and punching'. The aim of all classes at Unity Taekwondo Academy is to provide a fun, friendly and safe environment to instruction you in a martial art the instructors love. Classes are taught by experienced senior instructors.

The Paddle and Play sessions are open to individuals, families and groups of friends who wish to hire or launch sit on top kayaks, open canoes, and paddleboards. They are not Instructor led sessions. Sessions run on a Tuesday evening 6pm – 7.30pm, Saturday morning 10am – 11.30am and from June Saturday afternoon 12.30pm – 2pm. They must be pre booked, you cannot participate without a pre-booking.
Tuesday evening 60 min exercise session outdoors on astroturf. 15 minute pre-session warm up and everything is supplied from bibs to the ball. All you need to do is bring a water bottle, suitable footwear, and turn up to have fun. Each week there is are different captains nominated (see our YouTube channel). Be prepared to make new friends and your first session is completely FREE! First Aiders & Defibrillators are also available pitch side.
An innovative new class, encouraging you mentally and physically to achieve your goals of gentle toning. Kim, experienced Personal Trainer, will lead you through an exercise class using bodyweight, light dumbbells, resistance bands and step boxes, to condition your muscles from head to toe. Please bring your own mat and a bottle of water. Appropriate light weights, bands, steps and other equipment will be provided.
