GEMS is a friendly and relaxed dance class for over 65s which includes a mixture of seated and standing movement with a focus on everyone going at their own pace and having fun. GEMS is more than a dance class. It's about being part of a community, building friendships and everyone enjoying themselves. We cover a wide range of styles and facilitate the exploration of creative movement. Each session costs £3.50, your first session is free!
For a leisurely stroll, a challenging hike, or something in between, or maybe pickleball or Pétanque ... join us in the great outdoors. We also have lots of indoor activities too.
Grade 2 - 60 minutes, about 2 miles, moderate hills, gentle pace. If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing. You don't need any special equipment but be sure to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water.
