Displaying local activities and events running in the next two weeks
This is an Intermediate/Gear 2 walk of approximately 4 miles with a couple of different options according to the ground conditions. One or two short steep ramps and some longer hills can be included depending on sign ups, but as a rule the walk includes gentle inclines and hard tracks through woods. A gentler-paced walk for those who wish to build up their fitness levels gradually and/or would like a shorter and more leisurely walk than our regular adventure walks. This very pleasant walk starts from Ripley, heads north following the Nidderdale Way, then loops round across Cayton Gill before returning to Ripley. The walk is about 3.5 miles, and takes around 90 minutes.
A 45 minute open gym session where the music is lowered. Parents are allowed to come and train with there newborn/children if they are in a car seat or pushchair.
Within Quiet Hour the gym music is quieter, we ask all attendees to refrain from dropping weights/making loud noises and a gym coach will be available for any support.
The Fit 4 U 2 service provides physical activity opportunities for people with a learning disability. Their leisure centre sessions include a mix of group exercise and inclusive sports e.g. boccia, indoor golf, badminton, archery and kurling, which are adapted to meet needs of participants.

Limitless, is British Cycling’s inclusive cycling programme which provides cycling opportunities for disabled people, regardless of age, impairment and ability. Limitless Clubs have committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment. Clubs may offer integrated inclusive sessions, or separate Limitless sessions specifically for disabled riders. Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie.
