This is a Gear 2 walk of approximately 4 miles with a couple of different options according to the ground conditions. One or two short steep ramps and some longer hills maybe included along with some gentle inclines. The walk varies between grass and hard tracks and lovely old turf. It is a great fitness improver for those who want to include some hill work into their exercise routine. This is a beautiful woody walk across the cricket pitch and into Hollands Wood campsite (not in use in the winter!) where you`ll enjoy lovely views across the Balmer Lawn with its abundance of ponies, cattle and pigs at the right time of year! Then we`ll head up the hill and into the Parkhill Inclosure and walk around to Standing Hat before returning along the cycle track. This walk is just over an hour.
