Our combined Tai Chi and Qigong class starts with a gentle warm-up to calm the breathing and mind, and mobilise the body. Angela will guide you through the Tai Chi steps from the front of the hall, talking you through each of the movements. We will learn a new step or revisit and refine one each class, building on the previous movements to flow a sequence together. This is an Intermediate/Gear 2 walk of approximately 4 miles with a couple of different options according to the ground conditions. One or two short steep ramps and some longer hills can be included depending on sign ups, but as a rule the walk includes gentle inclines and hard tracks through woods. A 3 mile walk around Belmont Country Park. A lovely area of parkland on the edge of Hereford. Car park just off Waterfield Road (coming from the direction of town, turn left at Belmont roundabout and follow brown signs to the carpark).
A lovely walk through woodland and across fields, with excellent views of distant horizons, following mostly footpaths and bridleways. At about 3.8 miles, this circular walk takes about an hour and forty minutes.
