Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
Walking football is designed to give you the chance to play the game you love but reduce the chances of injury. It's a great way to keep fit, learn skills, have fun and socialise!
With a qualified cancer rehab instructor, individuals will be led on a physical recovery journey and taught how to improve, retain or regain their fitness, pre or post treatment.
